Kris Allen's sophomore album, "Thank You Camellia". A success.

Kris Allen recently released his second album, "Thank You Camellia", and I must say, I really like it. Do I completely love it? Not yet. But I am thoroughly impressed by it. For me, if I don't immediately like an album the first listen through, I most likely won't listen to it again. I feel like If you're going to make an album, you should put a lot of work into it and make it a well rounded, and complete album. An album full of quality songs. Kris Allen did just that. Yes, this album took quite some time to be released, and it shows. Every song is worth the listen. The song order was really well thought out, too, which is also necessary. Every song is well written, and beautifully produced. Talk about a hook fest. Almost every song on this album would do well on radio. That's not easy to pull off.
My top 3 favorites so far would have to be "Monster", "My Weakness", and "Better With You". All three of these songs are ridiculously catchy. "Monster" has me conflicted. I absolutely love it, but I am equally disturbed by it. It's so creepy, but I totally understand it. I'm a little bothered that I love it so much. All 3 of these songs could be radio hits, along with "Rooftops".

All in all, "Thank You Camellia" is a strong sophomore album. It's an album full of catchy, fun, and thought provoking songs. We definitely haven't seen the last of Kris Allen.

4.5/5 stars.
